Chapter History
May

mornings for breakfast meetings. Brothers used contacts to get information

following Brothers were elected into offices:
Brother
Lewis Smith - President
Brother Perry Halstead - Recording/Corresponding Secretary
Brother Sam Daniel - Treasurer/Financial Secretary
In
an open forum during a state convention, the State Director stated
no new chapters would be started in Georgia as long as he was in
office.

State Director from the process. After meeting with Brother Perry
Halstead, the Regional VP challenged the fledgling chapter to prove
themselves because of rumors the chapter would consist of renegades.
Brother Al Gray verbalized the goals of the fledgling chapter. They
received support from brothers across the country.
Some
of the brothers that supported the fledgling chapter were:
Brother
C.P. Halstead Sr.
Brother Felix Goodwin (who traveled from Tuscon AZ)
