Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day Basket Delivery
For
over a decade, Brothers of OPL have spearheaded an annual community-wide
service project in and around Spreading Oak Drive in Southwest
Atlanta. The tradition of service continued in early December,
when nearly $750 in monetary donations were gathered along with
a hefty trunk-full of can goods and other nonperishable items.
The local beneficiaries include The United Negro College Fund,
The Carrie Steele Pitts Home and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cancer
Home.
Through
these donations, Omicron
Phi Lambda was able to again raise the bar during this 2004 holiday
season, also adopting four families and ensuring that their pantries
are full and holiday's filled with fond memories. |
